End of support for software products that require Java module
In March 2025, Ricoh will discontinue product support for the following software products running on Java VM on multifunction printers (MFP) and laser printers (LP) due to the end of support for Oracle's Java module.
Newer software products do not use this technology and, as such, we recommend replacing affected products with the latest ones or updating the system configuration to avoid future security vulnerability risks.
Please contact your local Ricoh office or authorized dealers for details.
Applicable products:
- Streamline NX v2
For following products, some of the function is running on Java VM so only specific use will be affected:
- GlobalScan NX v2
- Card Authentication Package v2
- Enhanced Locked Print NX v2
- Streamline NX v3
- Various 3rd party solutions
